Conversations

Conversations is a unique collaboration between Momoko Kamiya from Japan, Niti Ranjan Biswas from India, Sjahin During from Turkey, Marta Klimasara from Poland and Pape Seck from Senegal. In a concert that balances between solos and spoken word, each artist presents a piece deeply rooted in their own cultural tradition or highlights a personal musical story, on traditional or specially composed drums for them.

DOMNIQ plays Steve Reich

DOMNIQ invites friends for a program centered around three major works by American minimalist composer Steve Reich. The warm sound of six marimbas is complemented by free improvisations and African rhythms. Collaborating friends for evening are Argentinian percussionist Marcelo Wolowski (known from Snarky Puppy), Senegalese drummer Pape Seck and members of the DOMNIQ Group.

Global Beats Improv Night

Grab a drink after the concerts in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven’s music café M. The stage will be open for free improvisation and percussion instruments will be provided to keep the rhythm flowing!
