The Iranian-American comedian and actor Maz Jobrani is known for his sharp and humorous take on cultural and political issues. As a co-founder of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, consisting of Middle Eastern comedians, he gained significant attention through their groundbreaking performances on Comedy Central. With a hefty dose of humor, they examine stereotypes and prejudices about people from the Middle East. In his solo shows, Jobrani continues to explore these themes, aiming to bring the Middle East and the West closer together. Last year, Maz released his stand-up special "The Birds & The Bees" on YouTube, which has since been viewed nearly half a million times! Additionally, his show "Immigrant" is available on Netflix.

In addition to his work as a stand-up comedian, Maz Jobrani has also made a mark as an actor in various TV series and films, such as "Shameless," "Grey's Anatomy," "13 Going on 30," and "Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero," in which he even played the lead role. In 2017, he had the honor of hosting the prestigious Emmy Awards. Jobrani is also the author of the book "I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One On TV," where he humorously and insightfully shares his experiences as an Iranian-American actor and comedian. He takes the reader on a journey from his childhood as an immigrant in the United States to his successful career in Hollywood.
