Singer-songwriter and guitarist Emily Nenni moved from California to Nashville at the age of 21 with the intention of becoming a songwriter, not a performer. However, after a few guest appearances in small clubs, her reputation quickly grew. She rapidly became one of the most refreshing and exciting voices in Nashville. Her sound is deeply rooted in classic honky-tonk, enriched with country, soul, and rock 'n' roll. Nenni's music is characterized by honest and emotional lyrics, often based on personal experiences and stories. Her voice, reminiscent of Dolly Parton, adds a unique and recognizable tone. Starting in September, she will be touring with country musician Orville Peck, but first, she will be stopping by Eindhoven for Americana Mondays!

In 2018, Emily Nenni released her debut album "Hell of a Woman," introducing herself as a promising newcomer in the country world. However, it was her album 'On The Ranch' that won the hearts of traditional hardcore country fans. In May 2024, she released her follow-up album "Drive & Cry," staying true to the same style while showcasing her voice even better. The album, featuring collaborations with top musicians from The Deslondes and The Pink Stones, contains eleven strong tracks, ranging from heartbreaking ballads to uptempo songs. Tonight, she will perform the tracks from 'Drive & Cry,' accompanied by Teddy & The Rough Riders, who are also the support act.

The music of the Nashville-based duo Teddy & The Rough Riders offers a unique mix of country rock, enriched with strong harmonies, beautiful pedal steel, and rhythmic grooves. They renew the sound of bands like Little Feat, The Band, and Flying Burrito Bros, while staying true to country artists like The Louvin Bros, Buck Owens, and Billy Joe Shaver. The duo has collaborated with big names such as Margo Price, Soccer Mommy, and Orville Peck. "One of the best country acts making music today," according to Orville Peck. Tonight, they will accompany Emily and open the evening at M!
