How to write the perfect pop song? JOHAN takes you on a quest to find the answer to this question during their theatre tour Pop Music. On 29 March, experience all the hits beloved Dutch pop group live at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! ‘Everybody Knows’, ‘Pergola’, ‘Oceans’: all iconic songs delivered by JOHAN. Besides the classics, this is also the night to enjoy new hits. With the recent album ‘The Great Vacation’, the indie power pop band delivered its most adventurous album yet in 2024.

Ever since its debut album in 1996, JOHAN has been a resounding success: an Edison, gold for the album ‘Pergola’ and many festival shows (including at Pinkpop) followed. When the beloved group quits in 2009, it comes as a complete surprise. Fortunately, an old love never dies. JOHAN released the acclaimed comeback-album ‘Pull Up’ in 2018. That they were missed is obvious: tickets for the following club tour sold out like the speed of light.

January 2024 saw the release of sixth album ‘The Great Vacation’, which was declared the next classic by press and public alike. Written during the corona period, the album impressively captures the feeling and mindset of a time when music was one of the few ways to escape. Thirteen brand new songs nestle effortlessly between classics like ‘Pergola’, ‘Tumble and Fall’, ‘Oceans’ and ‘About Time’. ‘The Great Vacation’ It bursts with undeniable craftsmanship - which has since become the band's signature.
