Tijn Trommelen Quartet

Tijn Trommelen is a man on a mission. Growing up in a family of musicians, he knew from a young age that he wanted to become a musician too. Starting out as a guitarist, he later discovered a new passion: singing. Inspired by composers from the past, he now writes his own music in the spirit of "The Great American Songbook." His music is timeless, romantic, swinging, and full of joy. His playful and charismatic performances ensure that everyone becomes part of his musical adventure. Bringing a fresh energy to the jazz scene, he dreams of transforming jazz into pop music. In addition to working nationally and internationally as a jazz musician, he is currently working on a lot of new music. In this performance, Tijn and his quartet will not only play his own compositions but also the well-known repertoire of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Harry Connick Jr.
