In Eindhoven, castanets and colorful polka dot dresses bring an Andalusian touch to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven in a unique 4-act show. Professional artists introduce you to 6 of the 50 existing flamenco styles, known as 'palos,' in a magical setting full of flowers, all enhanced by a beautiful light show. We Call It Flamenco is the perfect evening for lovers of Spanish culture!

A grand musical ode to joy with 150 performers on stage. And for this, he truly pulled out all the stops.

It's been 25 years since Ilse DeLange put country music on the map in the Netherlands with her classic debut album "World Of Hurt." While she always had a fondness for country, the singer from Twente also proved to excel in pop, rock, and Americana. In September, Ilse returns to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with her band, performing not only music from her new album "Tainted," but also many of her big and well-known hits from her 25-year career, such as "Miracle," "So Incredible," and "Changes."

When it comes to progressive rock, Haken is the name that springs to mind. Since the sextet from England began making music in 2004, they have been one of the most adventurous bands within their genre. Each album they have released is unique, but they are connected by their unpredictable time signatures and distinctive songwriting and vocals. Their most recent album, "Fauna," epitomizes this diversity at its best. Haken describes the album as their 'sonic rainforest', where they blend old sounds with new, daring ideas. During this concert, they will perform "Fauna" in its entirety, as well as a selection of their older work.

Schalk Bezuidenhout has come a long way since his humble beginnings in a strip club in his hometown of Johannesburg. His major breakthrough came when he was selected as the opening act for Trevor Noah's Nation Wild Tour. Since then, he has been on the path to becoming one of South Africa's most sought-after comedians. In 2023, he performed at the prestigious Fringe Comedy Festival, and to top it off, he released a Netflix special. Despite recently getting married, Bezuidenhout feels older, wiser, and more mature, but his sole aim remains: to stay connected with the youth. The question remains whether he will succeed in doing so.

"The most refined ensemble of them all. A cappella fans: this you must hear!" is what Record Review of BBC Radio 3 said about VOCES8.  Nothing but three women and five men in the spotlight on stage: you will breathlessly listen in the Hertog Jan Hall. The British singers of Voces8 sing purely and without accompaniment. They are often described as the Rolls-Royce of a cappella ensembles. "Ultimate control, crystal-clear sound, and tight harmonies," as described by the Volkskrant.

The Hammond soul band The Pulitzers consists of drummer Salle de Jonge, guitarist Bas van der Wal, percussionist Phil Martin, and Hammond organ player Frank Montis. Their music is an engaging fusion of soul, funk, and rhythm-and-blues, with the raw Hammond and guitar driven by rhythmic percussion and drums. Inspired by legends like The Meters, Jimmy McGriff, and Booker T, The Pulitzers perform their own original songs with a single goal: to ignite a fire! When these four dedicated musicians play together, sparks fly.

The legendary Belgian duo Clouseau is bringing the CLOUSEAU40 Clubtour to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! 40 years of Clouseau deserve to be celebrated. In late 2024 and early 2025, the gentlemen will perform 12 times in a sold-out Sportpaleis in Antwerp, and now they are also touring the stages in the Netherlands. Koen and Kris Wauters, the charismatic brothers behind Clouseau, will treat you to an evening filled with their greatest hits. From the heartwarming 'Anne' to the irresistible 'Daar gaat ze' (There She Goes); all the hits will be showcased.

Last year, Jana Mila flew to Nashville with a substantial collection of self-written songs and returned home with a dream debut and a record deal. The renowned American label New West Records gave her complete freedom to work on her debut album with producer Todd Lombardo (Kacey Musgraves) and a group of legendary musicians. The songs of the 26-year-old singer are characterized by strong lyrics and surprising, catchy melodies, drawing inspiration from artists such as Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Julia Jacklin, Carly Simon, and Phoebe Bridgers. With a strong band around her, she easily transitions on stage between quiet, melancholic songs and energetic, upbeat numbers.

In 2022, Sven Hammond delivered a delightful set during the Clubnight of our jazz festival: So What's Next?. In September, he returns to the Hertog Jan Hall of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, accompanied by his Big Band and orchestra, to present a swinging program celebrating the legend, 'Brother Ray' Charles. Expect not only his world-famous hits like 'Georgia', 'Hit The Road Jack', and 'Hallelujah', but also beautiful arrangements of other contemporaries transformed into timeless classics by Brother Ray.

'Queues of fans at his soloist's room, one of the best pianists on earth'. The Parool reviewer was short of superlatives after Krystian Zimerman's concert at the Concertgebouw in 2023. '... one big declaration of love to music, his instrument, everything,' she wrote, completely captivated by 'internalised expression, followed by a conclusion you could hardly recover from'.  This is your chance to see Krystian Zimerman, one of the best pianists on earth, shine in our Hertog Jan Hall. And since he is inseparable from his grand piano and travels the world with it, he will play this performance on his own grand piano.

You might know Jimeoin from his comedy shows on YouTube, which have been viewed millions of times, or from his TV appearances on "Live at the Apollo," "The Royal Variety Performance," and "Conan O'Brien." But the place where this comedian truly feels at home is live on stage. The Irish-Australian comedian Jimeoin is known for his unique style of humor. His shows are a mix of sharp observations, hilarious anecdotes, and a touch of absurdism. With his natural charm and impressive talent, he manages to highlight the everyday in a new and funny way. In September, Jimeoin will be coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven for the first time with his show "Who's Your Man?!."

The recipe for a delightful retro sound? A dash of old school funk, a splash of psychedelic rock mixed with surf-like guitars: that's Cocobolo! Music that is not only wonderful to listen to but also a joy to watch. Cocobolo writes all their music with a visual concept as the starting point. This way, it all comes together as one story, much like a film. Imagine: a chase, an evening walk in the woods, or a rain dance. With these kinds of visual backdrops, all of Cocobolo's songs achieve the same thing: they stimulate your imagination. Experience the adventure with Cocobolo during this edition of Kaleidoscope!

The musical cabaret duo Yentl and de Boer celebrates its 10-year anniversary! During an exclusive evening with a band, they will perform their most beautiful works and brand new songs for the first time at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The duo, consisting of Yentl Schieman and Christine de Boer, has been at the top of Dutch song art for 10 years. Their lyrics are sharp, touching, and humorous, always casting a loving eye on our struggles with being human. With the support of talented musicians, they tread a unique path between electronic pop music and semi-acoustic theater repertoire. And always with a perfect blend of humor and emotion.

In de beeldende theatervoorstelling word je meegenomen in de belevingswereld van een klein olifantje genaamd kleine Snuf. Kleine Snuf kan niet in de rij lopen, er is ook zoveel te zien! The illustrious Hungarian guitar duo has been coming to Eindhoven for years. A celebration that always stays with you. Now they bring along a violinist: the Belgian Noé Inui. The interaction of two guitars and violin in Sarasate's wildly virtuosic fantasy on themes from Bizet's opera Carmen promises to be a true spectacle.

Alpesh Chauhan was somewhat anxious on the evening his parents came to listen as he conducted Bruckner. They had only recently discovered classical music. Would they appreciate the majestic structures of his favorite composer? But afterwards, his father enthusiastically entered his dressing room and compared the symphony to a ride on the Orient Express.

What the passionate climate scientist Joyeeta Gupta and violinist Lonneke van Straalen have in common? They both look at things with a fresh perspective, shake things up significantly, and create new forms. Originating from India, Joyeeta Gupta is a professor at the University of Amsterdam and at the IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education, and the winner of the prestigious Spinoza Prize (the 'Dutch Nobel'). Justice is her great motivator. After experiencing the Union Carbide gas tragedy in Bhopal, India, as a young woman and witnessing the impact of large multinationals on developing countries, she dedicated herself to environmental and development issues.
