Cécile McLorin Salvant has been hailed by de Volkskrant as one of the best jazz singers of her generation. The New York Times mentions the three-time Grammy Award-winning singer alongside Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Ella Fitzgerald. Yet, the American singer sounds anything but nostalgic. She brings a fresh, modern twist to well-known and lesser-known gems from jazz, soul, and blues, singing in both English and French. She seamlessly blends elements of vaudeville, folk, world music, pop, and baroque music. In 2023, she released her album "Mélusine," featuring original compositions and songs from the 12th century to the 1980s. Tonight, she takes the stage with the enchanting Metropole Orkest, conducted by Darcy James Argue.

Everything Cécile McLorin Salvant performs is beautiful.
