Daniël Lohues has been traveling the country as a contemporary troubadour for over fifteen years, sharing his unique stories and timeless songs. From his time with The Charlies, Skik (known for 'Op Fietse'), and the Louisiana Blues Club to his successful solo career, Lohues has built a rich musical legacy. His music is a blend of folk, blues, country, and Americana, known for its personal lyrics and authentic style. Now, Daniël, along with Bernard Gepken (guitar) and Reyer Zwart (bass), is coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven to perform songs from his extensive repertoire. The evening will be filled with stories and music about longing, comfort, coming home, and leaving, striking a perfect balance between seriousness and humor.

On March 15, 2024, Daniël released his new album 'Nou', a milestone in his career with a unique blend of folk, blues, and rock, including lyrics in the Drents dialect. The album features twelve personal tracks, including the popular song 'De Emmenaar en de Olifant'. He alternates between solo recordings and collaborations with his band consisting of Bernard Gepken, Reyer Zwart, and Ruben van der Velde. During his concert, he also performs songs from his new album.
