In this lunchtime concert, cellist Nina Morel will perform works by Beethoven, Shostakovich, and Weinberg for her final Bachelor Recital. The highlight of the program is Mieczysław Weinberg's Fantasia for cello and orchestra. Trio Dynamo, comprising herself, pianist Manon Berendschot, and violinist Dieuwke de Vries, will perform Shostakovich's first piano trio. For Nina, it is particularly special to conclude her studies at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the concert hall in the city where she grew up!

Nina Morel embarked on her musical journey with cello lessons from Marie-José Didderen, but her passion soon led her to the Conservatory of Tilburg. There, she studied under the guidance of Paul Uyterlinde. She had the opportunity to learn from inspiring instructors such as Mario Brunello, Øyvind Gimse, Maja Bogdanović, David Cohen, and Olsi Leka.

Together with pianist Manon Berendschot and violinist Dieuwke de Vries, Nina forms Trio Dynamo, a chamber music group that not only exhibits musical cohesion but also shares a strong bond of friendship. The chemistry Trio Dynamo experiences is one they also radiate on stage. Their youthful energy imbues their interpretations with sparkle and character.
