Hit The City is all about (re)discovering new music. Lovers of indie and hip-hop, jazz, garage and singer-songwriters will be able to indulge themselves for three days in the weekend of 19 to 21 October. During this free festival, you can discover the most promising acts of the moment, spread more than ten cool locations, including Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! Be surprised by a line-up of over 50 acts and collectives.

Blossom Caldarone, a young jazz singer-songwriter from London, manages to make a special impression with her music. Besides accompanying herself on the cello or piano, she possesses a beautiful, clear voice that evokes a sense of serenity. Her song lyrics revolve around the seemingly inconspicuous aspects of life, which are often overlooked. Most of her songs are about people she knows, has seen or met.

Her inspiration comes from an eclectic group of influences, ranging from artists like Carleen Anderson, Syd Barrett and Tracy Chapman to 1960s icons like The Velvet Underground and Carpenters. With her honest and sincere lyrics, Blossom Caldarone hopes not only to put a smile on your face, but also to take you into her musical world.
