Hit The City is all about (re)discovering new music. Lovers of indie and hip-hop, jazz, garage and singer-songwriters will be able to indulge themselves for three days in the weekend of 19 to 21 October. During this free festival, you can discover the most promising acts of the moment, spread more than ten cool locations, including Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! Be surprised by a line-up of over 50 acts and collectives.

As a composer and producer, Andert Tysma is constantly pushing the boundaries of his art. Various classical arrangements are combined with modern technology to create unique soundscapes. In doing so, he is very progressive with his music, but also goes back to the past.

Tysma toured the world as a bassist and pianist with artists such as Thomas Azier and BEA991. However, in September 2022, he also released his first solo album 'Children Of Trinoom', and at the 2023 Best Kept Secret Festival, he gave his debut performance as a solo artist. Clearly, sitting still is not in his nature. Currently, Tysma is working on his second album which is expected to be released in spring 2024. Part of this album was recorded in the studio of renowned musician and composer Nik Frahm in Berlin.

Whether creating ambient soundscapes, neoclassical pieces or more experimental compositions, Tysma's music is always imbued with a deep emotional resonance, touching listeners on a profound level. With a focus on texture and atmosphere, he creates musical journeys that are both enchanting and uplifting, inviting listeners to explore new musical territories.
