The Hi-Stakes is an Amsterdam-based quintet, led by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Sam Ghezzi. The band performs Rhythm & Blues inspired by Louis Jordan. They also deliver dreamy blues ballads in the style of Percy Mayfield and get hips moving to the boogaloo beats of Blue Note Records from the late 1950s. Their repertoire consists of original songs with lyrics full of irony and passion, authentically performed in various popular genres of that era. Whether it's a lyrical blues ballad or an explosive old-school Rhythm 'n Blues number, The Hi-Stakes bring it!

Every other Saturday, established names and surprising new talent from the contemporary jazz and soul scene take turns in an informal club setting at Blue Note ClubSessions. At M, the new hall of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the focus is on combining socializing with enjoying top-notch live music.

Can't get enough of Blue Note ClubSessions? Then order the Blue Note ClubCard! With this card, you can purchase 10 tickets for 75 euros. That's a 50 euro discount compared to individual tickets!

The Blue Note ClubCard comes with a unique code that allows you to book a ticket in advance on our website. The ClubCard itself does not grant access to the concert, so it's important to order your ticket in advance. The Blue Note ClubCard is valid for all Blue Note ClubSessions until July 2024 – the entire 2023/2024 season.

If you choose to pick up the Blue Note ClubCard at our ticket office, don't forget to bring the order confirmation. Alternatively, you can have the ClubCard delivered to your home for an additional fee.

Timetable

Doors at M open at 4:00 PM where you can already enjoy a drink and the music of a jazz DJ. The live concert starts at 5:00 PM and will last until 6:15 PM. Finishing the event, the jazz DJ will play until 7:00 PM.
