Living legend Engelbert Humperdinck charms the Main Hall

Tuesday, April 19 was the only chance to see living legend Engelbert Humperdinck in the Netherlands. At the age of 85, the British singer came to the Netherlands for one show and chose, yes, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. What an honor!
We enjoyed the genre-transcending repertoire: from romantic ballads to disco, rock and even gospel. Not only his unique voice, but also the man himself, managed to charm the audience. His captivating sense of humor and self-mockery was a true pleasure for the eye and ear.
Hits like Quando, Quando, Quando and the unforgettable (Please) Release me passed in review. An evening never to be forgotten.
