Muziekgebouw Eindhoven doors wide open for Quiet Eindhoven
On Thursday 24th February, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven general director Edo Righini handed a symbolic cheque to the Quiet Eindhoven foundation offering Eindhoven residents with a small budget the opportunity to attend concerts at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven for free.
Live music for all
Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is here to welcome everyone, so this goes for people on a small budget too. Making free tickets available for these people gives them the opportunity to enjoy the power of music as well. Connecting through music is in essence what Muziekgebouw Eindhoven stands for. Music triggers encounters and connections between people. Likewise, one of Quiet’s important goals is to help people escape social isolation through making connections.
Something for everyone
As from now, Quiet Eindhoven members are given access to a diversity of concerts. From classical, like the Made in Berlin Quartet, to pop, like Kovacs & Metropole Orchestra. And for children too an array of concerts, like Dirk Scheele’s show, for kids or for the whole family is on offer. This way there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Handing the cheque
Edo Righini handed the cheque at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven to two of Quiet Eindhoven's volunteers, Mary Friers and Jurgen Vermolen. This moment is the kick-off for the offer to become valid to Quiet members.
“We are proud of the collaboration with Quiet Eindhoven so we can help improve Eindhoven’s social environment. With this project we hope to bring joy and leisure to people's lives." says Edo Righini
