The Magnolia Duo consists of Petra Heric (violin) and Anna Mikhailova (piano). This is an ensemble of professional classical musicians whose repertoire covers a wiide range: from the the Baroque era up to the modern compositions of our days. Both girls have been professionally involved in music since early childhood and both are laureates of international competitions. Magnolia Duo is based in Maastricht: Petra is completing her master's programme at the Maastricht Conservatorium, and Anna is studying in the post-graduate programme.

Despite their young age, the girls perform at serious musical venues, such as Vrijthof Maastricht, the venues of the philharmonie zuidnederland and in our beautiful hall. Today's programme includes pieces works by Beethoven, Brahms and Chopin. The girls will tell more about each of these pieces themselves.

Lunchtime concerts

Lunchtime concerts are a delicious break in the middle of your day, and you can take this literally! An hour of lovely music in our Small Hall. From piano recitals to chamber music and wind instruments, we offer a varied and refreshing programme. Because we think it's important to offer a stage to budding talent, you'll find recently graduated musicians and competition winners performing for you.

After the concert

Of course, a lunchtime concert is not complete without a tasty lunch. Therefore, you will can enjoy a tasty homemade soup and delicious fresh bread in the City Foyer after the concert. You can order this directly with your ticket!
